Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story is a groundbreaking anthology horror drama on FX Networks. In anticipation of the ninth installment, which is Mr. Murphy’s homage to 80’s slasher films, FX hosted a fully immersive, site-specific theatrical activation at a remote 110-acre campsite in Los Angeles.

On Friday, September 13, under a full moon, FX invited select influencers, VIPs and sweepstakes winners and put them right in the heart of the property and the year 1984. Our guests, who enthusiastically assumed the roles CITs (Counselors in Training), spent the night at Camp Redwood, a fully functioning, expansive summer camp setting located deep in the wooded hills of Los Angeles.
